Resorts Casino Tunica was originally opened in 1994 under the name “Southern Belle Casino”. Shortly after its opening, however, it closed briefly for four months before reopening under new ownership. Thereafter, the resort underwent several name and ownership changes before finally taking on its present name in 2005.
